Passaic High School Class of '60
50th Reunion Newsletter

 SEPTEMBER  2010

PASSAIC, NEW JERSEY

VOL 50   NUM 1
The Big Event
The PHS’60 Class Reunion plans are moving along nicely toward the big event on Saturday evening October 30 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Fairfield, NJ. For those arriving Friday (or those living in the neighborhood), there will be an informal “Meet & Greet” that evening in the lounge … and brunch will be available Sunday morning to round out the weekend. (The Friday and Sunday activities are not included in the registration fee.)
Excitement will reign Saturday evening, beginning with the cocktail hour at 6pm, as we renew friendships and find out “Whatever happened to …”, while enjoying dinner and dancing. Classmates from California, Florida, Colorado, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and lots of other far away places are coming as well as those who have remained in New Jersey all these years.
NameID tags will be provided to all attendees and their guests. However, we expect our fellow alumni to play the usual guessing game of “Who am I?” by holding one hand over the NameID tag throughout the evening.
We know that this PHS’60 Class Reunion will be
as successful and well-attended as were the 20th, 30th
and 40th galas.

Re-Echo
The 50th Reunion RE-ECHO is undergoing daily revisions before it goes to press, as questionnaires keep rolling in. This mini-yearbook will include “bios” of all of our Classmates who have returned their PHS’60 Questionnaires that were sent out months ago. So whether you plan on attending or not, please return the questionnaire in order to be included in the RE-ECHO. If you require a questionnaire, contact Pat Lazovick Novack at novacksofboca@msn.com or telephone Cliff Gordon at 973-883-9000.

Registration
If you have already responded that you are coming, please make sure you included a check for $95 per person. Those planning to register should mail in the payment, too. Remember, the registration fee only covers the Saturday evening event. The Friday “Meet & Greet” and Sunday brunch are not included. Mailings go to Pat Novack, 13 Rolling Views Drive, Woodland Park, NJ 07424.

Last Chance
If you have never attended a prior PHS’60 Class Reunion or even if you’ve attended every one, don’t miss out on this one … while we are all still young and mobile. Remember, the Class of ’60 was by far the smartest, the most popular, the best looking, and the most successful in the 124 year history of Passaic High School.
